Transition to Massachusetts / New England

Soraya and I travelled from Virginia to Massachusetts for Memorial Day weekend. For this trip, we converted the back seat into a 'sleeper car' for Soraya using a feather bed and lots of pillows -- she was able to rest comfortably for the trip with her "conejo"...



We made our way up the eastern shore, through Maryland, Deleware and New Jersey to cross the George Washington Bridge and see NYC and the Hudson River



One of the highlights in being able to make the trip in one day was to be able to attend Joe's cousin Allyse's graduation from Bishop Fenwick High School. As you can see, we had a beautiful day for Allyse to finish her high school career:



During the ceremony, Allyse received a surprise and very impressive award. She was named the student who best exemplified the spirit and goals of the high school:
